Creating Balance with Traditional Food, Fibers and Medicine
Balance is a key concept in any traditional understanding of the relationships we maintain with each other and with the natural world we share with all creation. Today we are living in a world that is often toxic to every aspect of our being because of the way it disrupts the natural balance of life. Most of the things we do on a daily basis contribute to this toxicity without our recognition of the degree or cause. In this class we will take an in depth look at how we can begin to reconnect with traditional methods of food production, natural fiber materials for our daily needs and native plant medicines for our support in allowing our bodies to return to balance and optimal health. We will look at how these natural balanced relationships contribute to all aspects of a balanced personal lifestyle and a peaceful system of loving community connections with all our relations.
