Annie SewDev is an herbalist and EMT in central Florida. She offers donation based herbal wellness consultations, wildcrafts and prepares herbal medicine, and offers free herbal first aid in downtown Orlando.
With great fondness for the place that she lives, she seeks to practice bioregional herbalism, using local plants to improve the quality of life and reduce suffering. She delights in botanizing with friends and learning all the intricacies of the relationship between plants and humans. Herbal Wound Care
This class will cover the basics of wound care; tips for cleaning and dressing wounds, how to speed up healing and reduce scarring, infection considerations, etc. We will discuss several types of wounds, such as lacerations, punctures, abscesses, bites, and burns, and the nuances in presentation and care. Plants can be comprehensive support for tissue regeneration and infection care, and herbal remedies will be central to the approaches we consider.
