A Celebration of Florida's Herbal Community
Every year, the Florida Herbal Conference features educational opportunities for herbal enthusiasts through workshops, keynote speakers, plant walks, and networking, with chances to explore vendors and enjoy musical performances.
This year, we are excited to celebrate the 14th anniversary of gathering our herbalism community with a one-day event at Mead Botanical Garden in Winter Park.
This memorable event is designed for herbal enthusiasts of any level and vocation to learn from each other, as well as our keynote speakers, teachers, and the plants themselves. We will build relationships with our herbal sisters and brothers, meet vendors with services and goods that bolster our passions in herbalism, and we’ll get grounded in our practice through education, fellowship, and community in nature. All the while, we’ll dance and sing along with uplifting musicians.
The focus for our 2025 Florida Herbal Conference is on the healing flora of Florida. Our conference seeks to educate about and advocate for the conservation and preservation of our bioregional ecology. Together, we gather to begin the process of healing ourselves and each other as we help heal the planet. A portion of all proceeds will also be donated to support United Plant Savers.
The 14th annual Florida Herbal Conference is presented by the Florida School of Holistic Living and sponsored by Leaves and Roots and Sage Mountain Botanical Sanctuary.
Florida Herbal Conference gratefully acknowledges the Native Peoples on whose ancestral homelands we gather—including the Ais, Apalachee, Calusa, Creek, Miccosukee, Seminole, Timucua, and Yemassee—as well as the diverse and vibrant native communities who make their home here today.
Continue the Connection through the Florida Herbal Hub!
By attending this event you’ll receive a full year membership to the new Florida Herbal Hub, an online platform to help us cultivate community with other herbalists during the conference weekend - and all year long.
The Florida Herbal Hub serves as a virtual venue to build and strengthen relationships, where you'll:
- Find plant people near you
- Engage in dialogue and discussion groups
- Learn about online events and meetups
- Access recorded workshops & events
- Share resources, find solutions, and grow community
This platform is a great way for us all to connect with each other and share resources, so that the next time we meet in person, our bonds will be stronger than ever.
Regional Meetups
Saturday afternoon, we'll break out in bioregions to connect with our neighbors and meet new friends. We'll connect with each other, learn about activities going on in our area, share contacts and resources - and discuss ways we can work together in local communities to fill gaps and find opportunities to grow new projects, support current initiatives, and build resilience and relationship as local community.
We'll get to continue these discussions in the Florida Herbal Hub long after the last conference session has closed.
